Fade Away

It’s one of those dark and rainy summer afternoons. The house is still. Your only companion is the thunderous sound of the ticking clock. You’re feeling dissolutioned, questioning your life, where it’s going and whether or not you have made the right choices. You are wondering if you’re on the right path. If all the sacrifices you have made thus far will get you to your dream, a dream that seems so beyond your grasp, but follows you like a shadow every moment of everyday. Your mind is heavy with thoughts, of how to get there, solutions, steps and plans. Hoping that maybe soon, NOT SOMEDAY…cause that could mean NEVER… everything will fall into place.

You stare out the window and watch the rain crashing down upon the pavement with vigorous purpose. You take a deep breathe in to catch the crisp smell of the summer air. Maybe just for a little while you can let go and let life…for this moment it’s okay to sit there and be still. For this moment there are no worries in tomorrow or regrets from yesterday. In this moment it’s okay to know there is something beyond you working to guide you there…you will get there have FAITH…you need to trust that feeling. So sit back listen to the rain as it echoes to you FADE AWAY.
Breathe.
